Founder of A Sterling Landscapes

Alfie has always been drawn to the outdoors. An ambitious character from a young age, he explored different paths before discovering landscaping — and knew immediately that he had found his craft.
He spent seven years honing his skills with an established firm, learning every aspect of the trade from the ground up. During those years, he developed a deep understanding of materials, construction methods and the precision required to deliver exceptional results.
At twenty-one, Alfie made a promise to himself: he would have his own business by the time he was twenty-five.
Life tested that ambition. At twenty-five, Alfie experienced a period that would have stopped many people in their tracks — losing family members, seeing a close friend suffer serious injury, and facing personal upheaval, all within a matter of weeks.
Rather than retreat, Alfie channelled that experience into fuel. He launched A Sterling Landscapes with nothing but determination, skill and an unshakeable belief in his own ability.
Five years on, the company stands as proof of what can be achieved through hard work, talent and an absolute refusal to settle for anything less than the best.

Alfie remains at the heart of every project. He leads from the front — on site, in client meetings and in the detailed planning that separates good landscaping from exceptional landscaping.
His approach is direct, honest and quality-focused. Clients appreciate his ability to translate their ideas into practical, beautiful realities — and his commitment to getting every detail right.
With a team of skilled professionals behind him, Alfie has the capacity to take on the most ambitious projects while maintaining the personal touch that defines A Sterling Landscapes.
A Sterling Landscapes is focused on the highest end of the market — delivering bespoke garden transformations that challenge and inspire. Alfie's goal is to continue pushing boundaries, taking on projects that demand the very best in design, materials and craftsmanship.
"We want to create gardens that make people stop and stare. Spaces that feel like they have always been there, but that you know took real skill and vision to build."
